Make It Big, Bold and Readable

The screen is a 2:1 canvas viewed from the street, often in motion. These specs keep your ad crisp, legible and impossible to miss.

Keep all text and logos inside the safe zone
672 px wide 336 px tall

The dashed line marks the safe zone. Backgrounds can bleed to the edge, but anything that must be read stays inside it.

  • Canvas: 672 x 336 pixelsA 2:1 frame, matching the screen exactly.
  • Design at 1344 x 672Work at double size, export at either. Everything maps 1:1 to the screen.
  • Minimum text height: 24 px on screenThat is 24 px at 672 wide, or 48 px if you design at 1344. Smaller than that disappears from across the street.
  • High contrast onlyDark on light or light on dark. Low-contrast pairings fail review.
  • One idea per adYou have 8 seconds. One message, one offer, one way to reach you.

Do

  • Lead with your brand name or offer in big type
  • Use bold, saturated colour that pops at a distance
  • Include one clear way to reach you: name, number or handle
  • Test your design at arm's length on your phone. If you can read it, the street can too

Don't

  • Cram in paragraphs, price lists or fine print
  • Use thin fonts, script fonts or text over busy photos
  • Rely on white backgrounds with pale text
  • Stretch a flyer or social post into the frame. Design for 2:1
